Don't make it seem like that. It's disrespectful.

The other day Azusa wrote on her blog

"Although it is polyester satin, it is sometimes called 'Imitation Silk' or 'Ice Silk', so don't confuse it with silk!"

It's only been a short time since I wrote this.

Oh no! I covered my mouth with my hand.

So it's confusing .

This is a story I discovered while doing Silk Patrol.

I won't tell you which website I saw it on because it would be embarrassing, but even though it was in a bag that clearly said Silk Scarf, the quality label on the actual product said Silk-Polyester in English.

And in addition

100% FEELING SOIE POLYESTER

This English is written in a way that looks appropriate, but it's the wrong way around.

It looks like it now.

The name itself says 100% silk touch (but polyester).

The word "100%" gives it an authentic look.

But since it's a feeling, I'll blur it with "texture."

SOIE means silk in French, so it is reminiscent of fashion in French and gives off a sense of appropriateness.

POLYESTER honestly states the material itself properly! It's like they're taking out some insurance at the end, saying, "No, no, ours is clearly written, isn't it? It's your fault for not understanding it, and it's your own fault for assuming it that way." But the smell is unavoidable.

Don't you think it's an amazing production?

What's more, the bag containing the product has "Silk Scarf" written on it.

On top of that! If it were a scarf, which is synonymous with silk items, it would be easy to mistake it for something else.

If it's malicious, there's no such thing.

But silk is a high-quality material, so I have nothing but good things to say about it, and it's the most luxurious fabric worn by any human on Earth.

So they want to use the word silk to sell, to make it sellable, right?

In other words, it proves that it is a material that is truly revered, right?

After all, incidents like this remind us that silk is a wonderful material that everyone recognizes.

By the way, Azusa's blog also explains how to tell the difference.

burn

That was it.

When you bring a fire close to the fabric, it catches fire and burns easily.

This phenomenon doesn't occur with silk!

Silk is flame retardant, so it is difficult to burn.

At 300 degrees it finally decomposes (it does not dissolve)

So, please be very careful when purchasing silk.

When purchasing products by hand, be sure to check the quality label and silk content.

Unfortunately, if you can't actually buy the product (when shopping online), if it looks or sounds like silk, be sure to check the quality label carefully before purchasing.

If something is too cheap, you should unbox it with low expectations when it arrives.

Otherwise, you might be very disappointed!

Silk is the best! Love Silk
