#14 Through pop-up stores

It's a very wintery cold, and I usually manage to endure it until December , but every year from mid- January onwards I start to feel like I want to hibernate because the cold is too much.
And it seems that the strongest cold wave will arrive next week. The temperature in Tokyo will also drop below zero. Just thinking about it makes me cold.

That aside, ar* is hosting a pop-up store again this year!

The pop-up store will be open until the 23rd of next week! Right in front of Tokyu Plaza in front of Meiji Jingu Shrine. It's on the corner diagonally opposite Laforet Harajuku. There are a lot of people passing by, and it has a great atmosphere!

Every time I hold a pop-up store, I realize that many people are impressed by the quality of silk, and although it can be difficult, it's fun. Even people who don't know much about silk yet show interest and are surprised by its quality...I'm happy to be able to get closer to customers directly and hear their voices than when I was an office worker. I make different discoveries every day.

Also, when friends find out about the pop-up store, they drop by, which makes me happy because it gives me the chance to see friends I haven't seen in a while! And more than anything, I'm so happy that they make the effort to come to the store!

Two or three years ago I never thought I'd be opening a shop, so it feels strange to be standing in front of a store, but I'm very grateful to the friends who come together and the people who support me.

Whenever I interact with people, I am reminded that even when it is company-to-company interaction, there are always people involved.

Now that I'm no longer an office worker and can no longer get things done on my own, it makes me realize how important it is to value connections even more.

So stay warm!
