Quick laundry

This is the time of year when I sweat every day. The amount of laundry is increasing, so even though I live alone, I do laundry every day.

However, if there is silk in the laundry, it will have to be washed separately as delicates, which can be a little time consuming... But, to wear silk for a longer period of time, I still recommend washing it as delicates.

The most thorough way to wash clothes is by hand, regardless of the material. If you are only washing innerwear, hand washing can be quicker than putting it in the washing machine, but if you do use a washing machine, place it in a laundry net, use gentle water or dry mode, and use detergent for delicates.

This helps to reduce color fading and pilling, a problem that is characteristic of silk.

Silk is characterized by its thin and delicate fibers, which is why it is said to be weak. On the other hand, it is undoubtedly gentle enough not to damage the skin at all...!

The weakness also varies depending on the type of fabric.

If the yarn is thin like silk satin, you have to be extra careful, and if it's pongee yarn like the one used for socks, it's thicker than satin.

Even though it is called silk, not all of it is difficult to handle, so don't worry!

There is a term for this, "laundry boy," so I think there are people who are so particular about laundry. If I could be reborn, I would like to be someone who does laundry so carefully, but I'm the type of person who prioritizes doing it in less time... lol

When washing silk quickly in the washing machine, put it in a laundry net. Use dry mode and detergent for delicates. Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight. If you follow these steps, the rest is the same as regular washing!

This summer is going to be extremely hot, so I think I'll be using my washing machine more than ever.

Wash your silk quickly and stay comfortable!
