Why Silk!?!?

If you are looking for silk, you are probably looking for something that feels good against the skin.
If you wear silk all the time,
Some people even say that once they wear silk, they can't wear anything else. As a seller of silk, I wondered what it is that makes people so fascinated with silk, so I researched other things that feel good on the skin.
What natural fibers come to mind when you think of materials that are soft to the touch and suitable for innerwear?
Today, we looked into the differences between organic cotton and silk.
Both organic cotton and silk are natural fibers, but the big difference is that organic cotton is a plant fiber, while silk is an animal fiber.
The difference between regular cotton and organic cotton is that organic cotton is grown using organic farming methods, so no pesticides are used.
Silk is an animal fiber, so it is made of protein. Humans are animals too. I've written the same thing many times on my blog, but our skin is also made of protein, so it has a high affinity with our skin. That's why I think silk is a unique fiber.
If we were to compare just the feel and softness, we would think that both organic cotton and silk are soft and feel good against the skin, but when we look at the origins of the fibers themselves, whether they are plant-based or animal-based, there is a big difference.
Of course, cotton has its own unique ease of handling. Silk, which is weak, is inevitably inferior to cotton in terms of ease of handling.
However, the weakness of silk fibers is that they are not as strong as human skin. The best thing about silk is that it is gentle on the skin and protects it.
In addition, silk is more absorbent than cotton and has better moisture-wicking properties (does not get stuffy).
This means that even if you sweat, it dries quickly, prevents stuffiness, and keeps your skin comfortable.
Both cotton and silk have their own merits, but today I'd like to take a simple look at organic cotton, which is often compared to silk for its soft feel.
Even if you think that it just needs to feel good on the skin, there is a fundamental difference in the fibers, so I think there is a reason why silk feels so good and makes you want to use it again and again, something that other fibers don't have.
This summer, I made heavy use of the ar* Bra Cami. (Is this what you call a repeat purchase? lol)
This product is packed with the goodness of silk!
