Silk has fascinated people for about 5,000 years and continues to do so today...

After all, isn't it amazing?

It all started about 5,000 years ago in China when wild silkworms were domesticated.

At first, raising silkworms and producing silk was a closely guarded secret only within the Chinese imperial court.

That just goes to show how special it was back then, right?

In time, this secret became known to the world and spread through the Middle East to Europe, and the route was eventually called the "Silk Road"...

Apparently it was popular among the upper classes in Europe and was traded at the same price as gold!

When I think about it like that, I realize that silk is truly a noble item.

I feel so blessed to live in an age where such items can be purchased for much less than the price of gold, even silk.

And, I was able to enjoy the benefits of silk (the characteristics that silk has).

I'm even grateful to have been born in such a good time.

The history of cotton is about 500 years old, while that of synthetic fibers is about 50 years old.

We often hear about symptoms of chemical fibers causing abnormalities in the human body.

Dry skin

Causes itchy skin

Friction causes the skin to darken

My clothes stink (even after washing) etc.

Of course.

It's actually made from petroleum! When you think about it that way, doesn't it make sense?

There's no way that petroleum can have a positive effect on human skin...right?

Silk is about 5,000 years old, cotton is about 500 years old, and synthetic fibers are about 50 years old.

Compared to other fibers, a fiber that has already had an impact on humanity in just 50 years cannot be good, unfortunately.

Silk has been with us for thousands of years and is still a fiber that is kind to both humans and the earth.

I think silk is the perfect fiber for us, warm-blooded animals, whose physiological functions are affected by even a 1°C change in body temperature.

Silk is the best, providing a comfortable environment for your skin all year round!

From the bottom of my heart, I think it would be a waste not to incorporate silk into your life!

Love Silk
