I don't like it when it's cold. (Huh? Lol)

Silk has heat retention properties

Today was another day to be grateful for silk.

It's raining lightly like today, making it really cold, so on days like this, it's the perfect time to wear silk!

Because of the structure of the material, silk has better heat retention than any other material.

When I talk at length about silk to customers who come to the COREDO Nihonbashi store, I always tell them that silk is a fabric made up of extremely fine fibers, and there are many air spaces between the fibers. By trapping air in these air spaces, the fabric has excellent heat retention and keeps you warm.

(The opposite is also true; this air layer allows for good ventilation and keeps you cool in the summer.)

Many people picked up warmers and belly warmers today.

The belly warmers in particular were extremely popular yesterday.

And the people who use these belly warmers are, believe it or not! Men... (Of course, there are female customers who are looking for them for themselves, but there are also many more who pick them up saying things like "My husband..." or "My dad was looking for this..." than you would expect!)

Many customers also browsed our new products, such as short pants with belly warmers (of course made of silk) and long pants with belly warmers made from spun silk yarn.

When it's cold, my body gets stiff and my shoulders get stiff, I'm more likely to get injured, and whatever I do just isn't fun.

Sometimes just the cold weather puts me in a bad mood

That's why silk is a must, haha, for me!

I will wear silk again tomorrow and go to work in high spirits!

(And of course, I sleep in my 100% silk pajamas.)

We look forward to your visit! Let's have a little chat about silk with me♪
