I thought of this to survive the hot nights.

The other day, I wrote a blog post titled, "Silk innerwear is perfect when the humidity is extremely high!"

What is with the heat yesterday and today...?! It's so hot that I wonder what will happen in the coming summer. I've lived for several decades, but I've never experienced anything like this, so I'm really surprised.

So, even though the rainy season hasn't ended yet, I've decided to start summer on my own.

Even though it has only just begun, I am wondering how many more days this sweltering heat will continue.

It's hot, but let's not give up and keep doing our best!

Since the rainy season, when the humidity was so high that it was uncomfortable, we have been running the air conditioner at home. I know that it's not good to leave it on because it costs a lot of electricity, but when I turn it off, I end up sweating like crazy. (It can also cause heat rash, so leaving sweat on is surprisingly not good either!)

I saw a program on TV that said it's important to use air conditioning during the hot summer because there's a risk of heatstroke even at night. There are days when the temperature is high even at night, so it's better to use the air conditioner effectively not just during the day.

It's also hot at night, so if you don't get enough sleep you'll end up feeling tired the next day.

In times like these, I would like to explore ways to sleep comfortably on tropical nights!

I read somewhere that you should put ice in a hot water bottle to cool your futon before going to sleep. It seems like the coldness will disappear as soon as you get in. Lol

Another thing that anyone can think of is to sleep with a wet towel or a towel with an ice pack inside wrapped around your neck.

And make sure your pillowcases are silk!

Some people say that it feels cool to the touch, but I think it has to do with the air trapped in the fine fibers of silk, so it depends on the temperature around you. It may not be enough for those who want a very cool feeling, but it does relieve you from the humidity that clings to you, and it also makes your hair look beautiful, so it kills two birds with one stone.

I wondered if I could sleep cooler if I put an ice pack inside a silk pillowcase. I'll try it next time it's too hot to sleep!

May you always be comfortable!
